This partnership is one of many that the library
is pursuing in order to expand its presence within the community. According to Emerson, “the library is no
longer just a physical space; it is, increasingly, a virtual presence existing
outside of the building’s walls. This
has lead us to broaden our thinking about the library’s role. Therefore, we are seeking to become more of a
presence in other venues in the community and to collaborate more with other
institutions.”
